Let's celebrate a belated National birthday with some of the bounty this country has to offer. Let's start on the East Coast with salt cod cakes & herb spiked tartar sauce, as we travel West let's stop in Québec & savour potted crab from the Gulf of St. Lawrence with shaved radishes & crostini, We'll stop off in Ontario, grab some tomatoes & take them with us to Alberta to enjoy as a salad with pan seared steak & bleu cheese dressing & for dessert we'll head to the Okanogan & enjoy cream scones with boozy cherries, blackberries and a lavender crème anglaise.
